Objectives:
The goal of this project is for students to learn about ocean animals around the world. By comparing and contrasting, students learn about different sea animals, distinguish their habitat and describe them through Language Arts and Science. Create an ocean animal and display it in the Project Gallery.
Standards:
This GLP will cover the Common Core State Standards and ISTE Standard

When to Start:
This project is offered annually beginning in the fall of 2014- April 2015.
The suggested time frame to complete this project is within 1-3 weeks, considering the flexibility between the classes participating. Requirements:
Participants are required to have internet access, email account, camera, scanner and some knowledge of how to navigate on the computer. The main source of communication and sharing work with partners on the GLP include: Gmail, online chat room, blogs, widget, forums, and Padlet. |
