Welcome to my Global Learning Project on Ocean Animals Around the World. My name is Mirasol Whitmore and I’m a Third Grade teacher from Whittier Elementary School in Hemet, California. My class is excited to collaborate with you and others to learn about a specific topic together. As we share our experience, we will learn to appreciate each others' diversity in the classroom and begin to understand our similarities that bond us together.
I live in Southern California with my family. I’ve been happily married for 17 years to my husband, who is also a teacher, and we have two beautiful children that play multiple sports.
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies-Education from San Diego State University and my Teaching Credential from National University. I’ve been teaching for over 14 years and currently working on my Master’s in Educational Technology at Azusa Pacific University.
My goal is to provide effective technology skills where students are actively participating and enjoy learning. I am looking forward to collaborate with new teachers and students in my Ocean Animals Around the World project.
Thank you for visiting my website.
